Run: Robin Smith
Robin works in Technical Sales at Gospel Technology, which means he's great at translation - from a customer's line of business requirements to Sales speak, then Technical and back again. He really wants to ensure we understand exactly what you are trying to achieve and that we deliver you a great solution that solves real business issues with our robust platform. He brings us over 25 years' experience helping enterprises manage security & compliance challenges in their network, electronic messaging and data security infrastructures, subjects which he regularly speaks and occasionally blogs about. Prior to Gospel Technology, Robin spent over 10 years with Actiance, growing them from a 2 person team in EMEA & APAC to 16 when they were acquired. This followed on from a series of Technical Leadership roles across Pre-Sales, Professional Services & Post-Sales Support for software resellers and manufacturers establishing their businesses in the region. Robin holds a joint honours Computer Science & French degree from Essex University, which led him out of a weekend job doing Quality Assurance testing for Reuters into Wollongong, way back in the days when a TCP/IP stack was something you bought. He failed miserably to sell his teenage children on the merits of email and is now studying to become an emoji ninja.
